Alien Invasion(wheel bugs)

Prologue:One day when my dad was taking me home,I noticed some weird looking eggs (at least I think they were eggs) on the side of the house.Well in case your wondering, here's the story behind them.End of prologue.First of all, here's a picture of the eggs next to a penny. That was taken the day I discovered them. And on that day, what happened was my dad was taking me home,my mom had stepped a little ways out the door, and I noticed the eggs,at some point,I showed them to my mom,and we decided to take a picture of it.So from that point on,I checked on the eggs every few days.Finally,Mar.15,they started hatching,(we haven't gotten a good picture of them yet,but I put them up when we do.)But for now,you can look and learn about them here, and use this one for the other look and learn, (by the way, they ended up being wheel bugs). The End

UPDATE:  Here is the photo I told you about of them after they hatched.

  1. Very interesting, Charlie. We had these bugs around when I was a kid (about 100 years ago!). We called them stink bugs. I never realized then that the babies were the same bug. When Great Gramps would harvest the wheat we would all sit in the grain truck and let the wheat bury our legs when the combine dumped the load into the truck. There were hundreds of these bugs in the wheat...which I was not too fond of! They would fly in your face.
    Thank you this information.

  2. Well, I should have read the second article before I posted on here. Apparently, these are a cousin to the Stink Bug. Frankly, I don't remember the odor.
They look very much the same.
